Not a whole lot going on...just trying to kill some time before bed.
Ummm...did my taxes. Was not aware that if you make over a certain amount - $5150 to be exact, then they take whatever you made over that, and tax that and take that away from your refund. So I'm getting $259 less that I was planning on. Damn. But I'm still getting over 2 months rent total, so that'll take care of March and April, and I should make more than enough to cover May. And we'll just see where we are when June rolls around.
I'm really considering staying in lax this summer. I love lifeguarding (I really do...weird considering how much I complain about it) and will miss all those kids a lot, but I just don't think it'd be worth going home for. I really doubt I could find something that would pay that well here, but I could easily work 2 jobs this summer, and still have plenty of free time. So I'm thinking about it.
We had a massive snow storm this weekend which was just ridiculous. We got something like 20 inches in less than 2 days. By far one of my new favorite college memories was walking downtown friday night, covered in plastic bags to keep dry. The snow was falling so heavy, and the streets hadn't really been plowed, but the sidewalk were even worse, so our group of people, and then another group about 50 feet in from of us were just walking down the middle of the street and it was just all white all around us. And there was sporadic lightning, which I had never seen during a snow storm. Very cool.
Ended up sleeping over at Aaron's friday night, mainly because I really didn't want to walk the extra 8 blocks home in the snow. He then called me the next 2 days jut to talk. I think he just forgot we were friends, and this weekend reminded him. He's so strange...
Jill's going to live with us too next year. Not quite sure how I feel about it, but considering she's over here all the time as it is (even when Ben's not even here) I guess the only real difference is she'll actually be paying rent now. And with her and Steve, our rent will be like $130 less per month, so can't complain about that.
I donated blood the other day I got a big bruise from it that still hasn't gone away. Weird.
