The only problem with owning pets
Our dogs Jack (age 15) and Sheba (age 14) (see my avatar for the photo taken of them with Santa Claus last Christmas) are getting old, and quite often, we don't think we will be able to have them much longer. But today, my mother rang to say that they are having their golden labrador, Judy, put down. She is 16, and has been suffering more and more health problems over the past year or so, but today she had a fall trying to go up their two steps, and she has hurt her leg. She won't let anyone touch it, and seems to be in pain. At her age and with all her other problems, they don't think it's fair to put her through any more.
