drunk updating!
i've thought fleetingly about deleting my lj, but i still like to read frenz posts so i won't yet. my life has changed so so much lately & i'm tipsy alone w/ coffee & bailey's & reading anna kavan but i thought i might post one of these just to incoherently update anyone who might still read.
1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
broke up w/ someone, had a threesome (not as fun as hoped & not related to th break-up).
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
i never really make any. in 2012 i just want to get a job & travel w/ lex.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
i don't know, i don't know about no babies.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
no, thankfully. ken russell?
5. What countries did you visit?
no place. i went to nyc twice though.
6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
more confidence in myself, a job that isn't awful.
7. What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
in th early morning hours of 8 sept 2011, when lex & i first kissed & etc.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
writing songs & recording them w/ lex, ending an 8 yr relationship (long time coming, looking back...)
9. What was your biggest failure?
still jobless.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
actually no for once!
11. What was the best thing you bought?
vintage scorpion-print mini dress.
14. Where did most of your money go?
bills, moving, car repairs, stupid clothes.

being head over heels in love for th first time (either in a long, long time or maybe even srsly th first time.)

spent it at my childhood home w/ th family, got way drunk at my cousin's xmas eve party, skyped w/ my love, then he came & picked me up on th 26th & met my family for th first time.

not hate, but dislike a couple people who used to be close to me more than i ever thought i would.

rediscovered how much i love jonathan richman.

th best boyfriend ever/tru luv/etc.

a job.

i've been terrible w/ film watching lately. i actually really enjoyed drive. i just downloaded melancholia, should i watch it alone?

turned 26, went to free dinner at a favourite sushi place w/ michael & marc, then flew to atlanta & spent th week w/ martin, which was a 'learning experience' but am quite regretful about overall.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
having an income, not living w/ michael & his family for months.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011?
more black but also more pastel colours. cult party kei inspiration. stupid prints as always.
