(no subject)
So... we may be moving... again. Not to another state this time. But, from the house we are in to an apartment. There are many reasons for this choice. One, the house is falling down around us. Two, the heating bills are enormous and we don't want to go through that again this winter, especially if I have not gotten a job other than writing. So, we are going to have a wing ding of a moving sale. We have so much junk we never use and we are tired of it weighing us down. We found a rental company that will let us have our cats, with an extra security deposit, of course. That's not a big deal. It will be nice to have central h/c again. And, toilets that work. And, a dishwasher. And carpet. And no lawn to mow. Yes it will be about 1/2 the space. But, that's 1/2 the space to clean, too. I just hope the kitties will adapt well. The rent is a little more. But, the electric bill will be about a third. And, we will be in town again, as opposed to 5 miles from town, which is not a lot, but, I think we will like being in town. I can still garden, just have to do it in containers. Now, if I can just find a job, again.
