Summary : Kyuhyun has to deal with a stranger girl named Sungmin, who suddenly come to his life... and his apartment.
Chapter 11
Kyuhyun opens his eyes slowly only to feel a pain in his whole body. His eyes immediately meet the ceiling. Then he turns his head to his side as he hear a sound of breathing. He’s surprised, there he finds Sungmin sleeping soundly beside him. Her face is very close to his, her hands comfortably hold his own in a protective way.
Kyuhyun stares at the sleeping figure, admiring her flawless face skin, her pouted lips, her pointed nose, her long eyelashes. He thinks everything about her is perfect.
I’m glad to have you here beside me when i wake up. Truthfully, i want to experience this for the rest of my life. I have thought that i was so unlucky back then when you stopped my motorcycle in the middle of the street. But then when i think of it again, i was really lucky. I am really lucky having you came into my life. You’re my inspiration to make myself and my life better.
Kyuhyun glance at the clock, 7.35 am. It means it’s time for him to get ready for job. He knows he’s not in a good state, but there’s something he has to do today. He can’t be absent because of that. Then he slowly free himself from her hold, not wanting to wake her up. He did it amazingly without making Sungmin wake up. She must be tired, she needs more rest.
He sighs in relieve when he succeeds to get up, but he has to hold back his agonize. Damn, he feels his whole body sore. But Kyuhyun is not a weak person, he knows he can pass this. Then he silently steps out of the room limpingly, getting ready for work today.

Sungmin wakes up with a feeling of emptiness. When she already get all her senses, reality hits her. “Kyuhyun!” she sits up instantly. She immediately rushes out of the room, then look around in worry. And there he is! He is just out of his closet when Sungmin finds him. She looks at him intently from head to toe, he’s getting ready for his job?
“No no no... What are you doing? Where are you going, Kyuhyun? You can’t go!” Sungmin’s in panic, shaking her head and approaching him step by step. No way she will let him going to work in his state like now.
“I have to go, Min. There’s one i thing i need to do.” He replies it softly.
“But you’re not in a good condition! You need a proper rest! Look at you! Your face is still bruised, your body must be still-“ She chokes her own tears, not able to continue her sentence as the first teardrop is falling down. Then she buries her face in her hands, sobbing. Can’t you understand that i’m damn worried about you?
Kyuhyun doesn’t know how to stop her, but he should make her understand that he must go to the office. He immediately takes her hands from her face, then drag her to the couch. He makes her sit there while he’s facing her on his knees, so their faces are in the same level.
“Hey hey, stop. Look at me and listen to me.” He says tenderly yet firmly, wiping her tears with his thumbs. They look at each other for a moment, his hands cupping her face to make her keep looking at him. She calms down, but tears keep spilling out from the corner of her eyes.
“There’s something i have to do today, so i can’t skip work.”
“But-“
“I’m fine, Min, because you treated me well. Trust me, i can handle this. I won’t go for a long time. Besides, i must take my motorbike at ‘Chi’. Now listen to me, okay? Don’t go anywhere until i comeback, i promise i will go home immediately after i’m finished with my job. I will ask for day-off, so i can accompany you and get some rest until i recover. And you don’t have to prepare dinner, i will buy it for us. You got it?” Kyuhyun explains with so much tenderness in it. Sungmin only nods his head repeatedly in surrender.
“Thank you. I will go home sooner, kay? Don’t cry, please...” He comforts her again. She still in her position, nodding once again. Kyuhyun smiles and pats her head lovingly before he gets up and steps back wards to the door, grabbing his coat and waving his hand slightly at her. Her eyes just follow his action until he vanish from her sight.
When Kyuhyun is already outside, he definitely cannot hear someone’s crying for him.

Sungmin knows that she doesn’t have a choice and a right to stop Kyuhyun when he decided to go working this morning. Now she doesn’t know what to do. She can’t go outside, it’s risky. But staying alone at home also making her insecure. How she wish he understood that she wants his company right now.
In the afternoon, she decides to try visiting Hyukjae. I hope you’re home, Hyuk...
As she wished, Hyukjae is home. His gummy smile immediately welcomes her, then he hugs her. “Min! I missed you so much!” Hyukjae exclaims excitedly, while she’s only giving him a small smile. “I miss you too, Hyuk~” Yes, they are missing each other, because it’s been awhile since their last meeting.
Hyukjae can sense there’s something wrong behind her smile. He immediately bombard her after they get inside. “What happen, Min? Is there anything wrong with you? Or Kyuhyun? You don’t go to work today?”
Hearing his concerned tone, Sungmin burst out in tears again. She can’t take this anymore. Now that she has a friend to share with, she doesn’t think twice to tell him what was and is happening. Hyukjae, too, doesn’t think twice to take her to his embrace, comforting her. He can understand how she’s feeling. And he knows a touch and a shoulder to cry on are things she needs the most now.
From her story, Hyukjae can finally conclude one thing. “You really like him, don’t you?”
Sungmin’s eyes widen, but she can’t deny it. She’s craving for right words. “I... I love him, Hyuk, i love him. I’ve fallen for him without me even noticing it...” She just confirmed it to herself, to her heart. She knows her heart is smiling in satisfied right now after she admitted that she fell in love with Kyuhyun, slowly but sure.
Hyukjae knew it would come. And now he’s happy for her, hoping Kyuhyun feels the same way. He continues calming her down. He even tells some jokes, and it succeeds to make her smile.
Suddenly, there’s a sound from the front door. Then a handsome guy reveals himself after he opens the door. Guess he has the spare key. “Hyuk... kie...” He calls, but his expression changes when he sees his Hyukkie with other person.
“Hae...” Hyukjae’s quite shocked with his lover’s sudden appearance. Awkward pause. “Hello~” Donghae greets flatly and force a smile, then he walks to the kitchen. But everyone can see that he seems annoyed. Hyukjae sighs.
“Min, wait for a second, kay?” Sungmin doesn’t have a time to reply him, because he already dash out of the room to approach Donghae.
Soon, Sungmin can hear the sounds of arguing from the kitchen. She thinks it’s time for her to go home. Hyukjae have told her about his lover possessiveness. Well, Sungmin and Donghae have met with each other. Donghae is actually a very nice guy. But she can tell that Donghae feels insecure whenever his Hyukjae with her. He’s obviously jealous, and he can’t hide his jealousy.
This is really not the right time, she thinks. She decides to go back to the apartment. Then she clears her throat when she’s near the kitchen. It succeeds to get their attentions. “Ehhh, sorry for interrupting. I think i’m going home now, Hyukjae, Donghae. See you guys later, okay?” She smile sincerely to the two lovers.
“Min, it’s okay you can stay here with us.” Hyukjae says it firmly, glaring to his lover. He understands that she needs company now. He feels bad for her because of Donghae’s overly jealousy.
“No no, i’m fine. Besides, i’m afraid Kyuhyun probably is going home soon.” She reassuring Hyukjae who looks so worried. “Okay, i’m sorry, Min.” Sungmin just waves her hand as if saying ‘it’s okay, i understand’. Then she bows slightly to Donghae, “See you later, Donghae.” Donghae just stand still on his spot. Luckily, Sungmin doesn’t see his coldness as she already step out of the room.
When Sungmin opens the door to get out, he can hear Hyukjae snaps angrily. “I can’t believe you, Hae!”

That day become the worst day for Sungmin since she lived there. She waits for Kyuhyun impatiently and worriedly, until she falls asleep on the couch. Kyuhyun’s couch. She can smells his scent, she thinks about how much she miss this scent.
Kyuhyun arrives at 7 pm. The sleeping figure of Sungmin welcomes him. He smiles watching her angelic face, but then he frowns as he can see her insecurities even when she’s sleeping. I’m sorry i make you worried. I promise i will never leave your side. I want to see you happy, because it’s the source of my own happiness.
“Sungmin, hey... wake up...” He caress her cheek with the back of his hand. She opens her eyes slowly, then blink to adjust her sight. She immediately smiles when she see his face. “Kyuhyun... you’re home.”
“How do you feel now?” Kyuhyun asks her concernedly, stroking her hair. And she stays in her position, enjoying his careness.
“Isn’t it supposed to be my line?” She frowns. “I’m lying if i say i’m good. But i feel better now. How about you?” I feel better since you’re here with me now.
“I feel better as well. Ehhh... i bring something for you.” He says shyly as he gives her a bouquet of red roses. She widens her eyes and gets up in surprised. “Kyuhyun... this is beautiful, thank you.” She beams in awe.
“I’m glad you like it.” He simply says, smiling genuinely. He watch her smelling the flowers, smile doesn’t leave her face.
“Hey, I’m getting my day-off for two days, starting from tomorrow.” He informs her, hoping that she will be happy hearing that.
“Really? That’s good, Kyuhyun~” He strokes her hair again, making her heart beats crazily.
They fill the remaining hours for that day with having their dinner together in a warm silence. As for the sleeping time, Sungmin hesitantly ask Kyuhyun to accompany her. Her insecurity seems strike again. Or she’s just addicted to his presence?
“Do you mind staying here? Please, Kyuhyun...” She pleads. After long pause of thinking, he sighs and give up.
“Fine, i will accompany you until you fall asleep, kay?” She smiles thankfully to him. It’s better than nothing.
It’s just like that. She lays there, while Kyuhyun’s doing something with his laptop, leaning against the head board. When she already fell asleep, Kyuhyun watch her intently. I think now i can say that you already stole my heart, Sungmin. I love you, i really do. And i want to protect you and make sure you feel happy every time.
He ends up laying and sleeping there as well, together with her.

Next morning, Sungmin wakes up first, surprised to see Kyuhyun there. But not that she doesn’t like it, though. She lets him sleep more until breakfast is ready. When Kyuhyun wake up and see no Sungmin there, he frowns. Then he immediately gets up and look for her. Just want to make sure that she’s fine. And she is.
That day, they decide to spend their time to clean up the whole apartment, because it’s been awhile since they did it. They clean up with full of joy, smile, and warm laughter. They are surely exhausted, only taking a break when they’re having thier lunch. But doing something with the one you love is something that could never be tired of.
It’s already 5 pm when they finish cleaning up. Kyuhyun is the first who throws himself on the floor. He sits there, leaning against the wall in the living room. The glass window above his head is half-open. He inhales and exhales deeply, enjoying the wind that blows from outside come in through the window. He slowly closes his eyes.
Seeing him like that, Sungmin immediately joins him, sitting there beside him. They stay silent. It’s really a comfortable silence like they’re on the beach in a snowy day. Suddenly, Kyuhyun begins to hum a song, making Sungmin stare at him in awe. The humming is so melodious and heart-warming, although she doesn’t know what song he sings.
“You can sing well, Kyuhyun...” She said as he stops. He lets out a little laugh. “I have won an award when i was still in primary school, actually.”
“Really? That’s awesome. And why don’t you continue singing? You will make a good singer.” He chuckles now.
“I don’t sing for living, Min. It’s just a hobby. I still remember i was joining a choir in a church back then when i was still young. But i never pursue to become a singer. I don’t like to be in the spotlight.”
“It’s so nice to know you more, Kyuhyun.” She smiles blissfully.
They both look down at their legs, back to silence again. But then soon, it’s Sungmin who breaks the ice. She starts to sing a song, and now it’s Kyuhyun’s turn to drop his jaw.

Kyuhyun is completely shocked. Sungmin can sing too, not to mention her voice is so sweet and soothing. He stares at a girl beside him, her closed eyes, her lips that let out a melodious note. Then when he’s back to reality, he joins her to sing that song. He knows this song, it’s one of his favorite.

Don’t give up on me yet, don’t forget who i am
I know I’m not there yet, but don’t let me stay here alone
Their voice mingle and harmonize perfectly to each other. They end it beautifully, yet they’re completely surprised with the perfect harmony they just created. They stare in surprised at each other as the song ends. They exchange a small smile, still staring deeply to one another.
In a slow motion and without thinking, Kyuhyun leans down to her, cupping her left cheek with his right hand. Sungmin gulps, knowing what’s going to come after this. She instinctively shut her eyes, while he’s doing the same thing. And then their lips finally touch to each other for the first time.

Anyway, next monday is going to be my first day of working. So, from now on i'll be more busy. But i'm trying to update at least once per 2 weeks. Hope you understand :)

Kyuhyun is completely shocked. Sungmin can sing too, not to mention her voice is so sweet and soothing. He stares at a girl beside him, her closed eyes, her lips that let out a melodious note. Then when he’s back to reality, he joins her to sing that song. He knows this song, it’s one of his favorite.

Their voice mingle and harmonize perfectly to each other. They end it beautifully, yet they’re completely surprised with the perfect harmony they just created. They stare in surprised at each other as the song ends. They exchange a small smile, still staring deeply to one another.
In a slow motion and without thinking, Kyuhyun leans down to her, cupping her left cheek with his right hand. Sungmin gulps, knowing what’s going to come after this. She instinctively shut her eyes, while he’s doing the same thing. And then their lips finally touch to each other for the first time.
