being a nice guy can be troublesome to be sure, and i'm sure it must be especially rough on you cause you are one of the nicest. i've thought about this kinda thing a lot, and sometimes theres a temptation to just say fuck it and be done with being nice all the time....but insincere assholedom doesnt work. you are one of the good ones, friend. you are loved and appreciated by many.
try not to be a sad otter (or whatever that emoticon is.. a meercat?, a weasel?,a rotten vermicious k'nid?) for too long.
winters coming and that breeds bad moods, but we'll all make it through to spring and have new events and people to be psyched about(hopefully sooner)

Sorry I was being a total drunk weiner the whole night. I felt really awkward the whole way down there, so I figured I'd get a little drunk to make up for it. Lo and behold, 5 hours later, I'm all obstinate and shitty.

nah man, you didn't do anything wrong. i think i was just in a rut and felt like i couldn't really have too much fun cause i had to make sure everything went okay, which wasn't even a big deal. it was like feeling like you have to be the dad. and not because everyone else was doing anything wrong, but just cause the people doing the show associated our mob of people with me. and anytime someone did something that they didn't like, they came to me. and i wanted to be like, "don't look at me", but couldn't really. overall i think everyone had an equally just okay time. so it wasnt really bad.
