I find that it is challenging to find good Thai cuisine in the States so much so that Stvn actually uses my Tom Yam Koong as a benchmark when we eat at the restaurant. Hence we were very happy to find a gem of a place in
Pam Real Thai. It definitely lives up to its name because we found the food to be "real thai". Choosing dishes from the menu proved to be another challenge because everything appeared so appetizing. I will highly recommend this place if you're looking for excellent, authentic and affordable Thai food in NYC.
This is Larb, minced beef mixed with lime dressing a new dish to me. Very refreshing and this dish is recommended by NY Times.
Tom Yum Koong - way better than mine. Easily one of the best that we have tried.
This fried rice looks so simple but it's packed with incredible flavour. Absolutely delightful.
Khao Soi. This is the first time I've seen this dish on the menu outside of Chiang Mai.
It's too spicy for me but Stvn enjoyed it.
