I believe an update is long overdue.
Well, things never really slow down, do they?
I still work at least 50 hours monday-friday, I'm still not liking my day job, and still trying to make something more out of what I have already.
Caroline and I have been kickboxing since October and that's going really well: we love to go, we're learning to fight, and we're tricking ourselves into exercise. Thanks again Suzi and Jeff for the reco.
Caroline and I started a business back in early December, and I'm hopeful that this will signal the end of my dayjob entirely.
Timbuktunes shall flourish and prosper this year, I feel it coming. It's just a shame that I can't dedicate more time to it yet, I want to sit at home and write all day, but instead I must go somewhere else and make someone else richer.
I'm ready to KEEP the money I make!
I have about a week and a half of vacation coming up in late February, and I'm planning on writing music, sleeping in, and getting tattooed, all things that I can't do when I'm so busy.
I just feel like I'm aging faster from this perpetual working state.
And I want to get to Mexico again!
