(no subject)
So I had a good time at home over Christmas. I was happy to be home during some difficult family stuff. My younger sister, Lauren, is disabled and has been really sick lately, having had multiple grand mal seizures (and focal seizures) over the last couple of weeks. Hard times for my family of course, so I was glad that I was home and able to be around to support my mom, and to spend time with my sister.
Aside from all of that I had a great time, saw lots of family, and Caroline came up for a night to attend a family function with me. I learned how to play Euchre (again, can never remember) and her and I beat my uncle and aunt.
Today we're getting ready for our roadtrip to Ottawa, as we (Caroline and me) leave tomorrow morning. I've never been there so it should be fun. Jeff and Suzi and Katie will join us the next day, and we're staying with Dan and Kris.
That's about it, I hope everyone has a fantastically exciting (and safe) New Year's.
