We'd like to keep the comments to vivian's entries in-character as much as possible; it's more fun that way, and more "real" for those playing along

If I may speak up...I will admit, this whole playing as Vivian thing is a clever, fun idea, and a creative marketing ploy. And whoever's doing it is a very good writer.
Now seeing the movie trailer leaves me a bit wary...because I read Blood and Chocolate a few years ago,(Jr. High, to be precise) and if I remember correctly, Vivian was an artist, and Aiden was a poet. And the story took place in Maryland, not Eastern Europe. Obviously, this film has caught the Underworld bug.
It says it's from the producers of Underworld, and I liked both of those movies (even if the plot in the second movie was a bit lacking).
And with that being said...I'm not so sure I'll like all the changes they're making in the movie from the book. I loved the book, and I think that it could have translated into a better movie if they had stayed more more faithful to the original novel, since it was a great story, and I loved it.
I think I will reserve my judgement until I see the movie, because different doesn't necessarily mean bad, but I don't know. I just hope I'm not cringing through the whole thing.
In the meantime, I'll set the fence on this one, but I will confess that I have my share of misgivings about it.
