I agree with everything you just said. Except for the first bit about role playing.
All the characters look so different than what I pictured from the book. And the part about Rafe, Bagriel and Astrid being her relatives is just so far out there. I just don't understand why they would do that.

Ok, I agree too. I want to see the movie. I'm disappointed in the changes. And Gabriel being her uncle? It creeps me out. I wonder if the writers even noticed that. But if you just want to go see it as a movie, not based on a book, it looks good. Like "Ella Enchanted" was based on a book and I mean LOOSELY because the only thing they kept the same was the characters' names. But that movie sucked anyway.

I really think it is going to turn out okay. Watch the trailer again, they mixed up the timeline in the trailer on purpose so you would think its a Romeo and Juliet, she winds up with Aiden thing. I get more and more sure that she winds up with Gabriel in the end as the RPG goes on and the movie release gets closer. Yay! Its opening tomorrow!
