The non-hijacked version of me

There is nothing quite like having a houseful of insanity.

Ben and Jefe are ill. I am trying desperately to avoid it, though I know that I am just fooling myself that I'll be able to avoid it.

There's something in my right eye irritating it. I even went to the doctor today to try and get it fixed, but he couldn't find something in my eye, and he didn't see any scratches, so I'll try and use antihistamine stuffs and hope that my eye won't start leaking goop or fall out.

My CD keeps skipping. It's sad, though that's what I get for getting them from the library instead of just sticking a crowbar in my wallet and actually buying them.

We had the sister missionaries over for dinner tonight. One of the gals is from Tonga, and she is a riot. She's so peppy (even her last name means happy in Tongan) and always so upbeat. She taught her companions how to do the Haka, so they did it for us, as a sort of between dinner and dessert entertainment I suppose. They were really good. And she has a boy in Japan, so she's trying to learn Japanese. We actually got through, "o-genki desu ka?" and "Genki desu, yo!" so I think we're both improving.

My evil homonym also came over tonight. She and Moose and Ben and another kid are singing in church on Sunday, so they practiced their song. We also went and delivered the papers that my brothers are in charge of on Fridays. It was actually quite humorous, because we went through our neighborhood with both sliding doors on the van open, and me driving through the middle of the streets so that they could throw papers onto the driveways on both sides. We got quite a few looks from the people on the streets.

Spiders are invading my room. Must kill!!! Ewww. The worst is when they drop from a ceiling or ledge and you almost walk into them, then you end up staring it in the face. *molto shivers and general feelings of ickiness*

I refuse to end with spiders, so I will mention that I got Neverwhere from the library, but Moose stole it, so he's read it, but I haven't. However, he enjoyed it very much, and is now looking for more Neil Gaiman books. Especially since he's read all the Terry Pratchett books currently in print. He has totally left me in his bookreading dust.

i ♥ books, food is delicious, library, ben, jefe, terry pratchett, we are amused
