Sorry it has been soooooo long!

Sorry for the delay! I will bullet this entry so as not to overload you…

Please pray for our relationships with the following 2 men:
Mr. Praphan-he is a high ranking official in the education department! He has helped us immeasurably over the last year. It began last summer when I was here and helping to write curriculum so we could obtain our license. Mr. Praphan is not a Christian, but he loves Roslen and continues to work hard on all of our behalves, he says we are just such nice people. If only he really knew-WE ARE NOT NICE PEOPLE-BUT GOD IS GOOD.

Mr. Sawatdee-he is the director of Sarapuchang, the college across the street that Roslen teaches at. I guest taught there last summer. Mr. Director as we call him has worked so diligently to help Roslen obtain his work permit. As mentioned in a previous post Roslen’s work permit expired with out his knowledge and he was facing jail time or a huge fine. Thanks to the immediate intervention of Mr. Director there was no jail time and a VERY small fine. He continues to come to class here and help in any way he can-he also says we are such nice people. I praise the Lord that the people around us see Him and not us.

Also:
My leg is finally healing after having in numbed and the skin cut out of the hole 2 days in a row. The hole, after cutting was close to 3 inches deep. I have had to go daily to have it scraped and cleaned, it had been two weeks of the daily grind and I have been advised not to teach at Centara…I miss my students but I am enjoying being here and writing curriculum. It is quite a challenge.

Phylla and I spent 5 days in Bangkok, instead of the 2 we had planned, for my visa approval. We did not have the originals of our school’s license so we had to have them sent overnight to us. This was over a weekend! We got the visa done bright and early Monday morning. And walked all over the city-we did a lot of shopping. Phylla did, she knows all the places to buy things for wholesale. Clothing is very expensive here and the choices are also very limited, but not in Bangkok so you need to stock up while you can.
