archi aptitude test
it's like finally over? arghh. totally went mad over it. i think i told people that i was like damned scared about it but i don't think many got the message. i was seriously freaking out. i had knots and that butterfly feeling in my tummy all day yesterday and like in the morning. i couldn't even get to sleep! kept getting up! :/ like how on earth do you prepare for it? you either have it or you don't. and i want archi ): so now that it's over, at least i can stop worrying about preparing for it. but where's that sense of relief! i'm still freaking worried about the interviews and whether landing an interview is even a good thing! and yes, there's the portfolio to prepare. rawrrr.
anyway, here's the exerpt i had to interpret: (i yahoo-ed it la. im not that obsessed that i memorised it!)
"Once Chuang Tzu dreamt he was a butterfly, a butterfly flitting and fluttering around, happy with himself and doing as he pleased. He didn't know he was Chuang Tzu. Suddenly he woke up and there he was, solid and unmistakable Chuang Tzu. But he didn't know if he was Chuang Tzu who had dreamt he was a butterfly, or a butterfly dreaming he was Chuang Tzu. Between Chuang Tzu and a butterfly there must be some distinction! This is called the Transformation of Things." (!!!) - they expected everyone to interpret this. i seriously felt bad for those who aren't really like good in english. like what could you make out of this! esp with your nerves! tskk.
we had to 'READ THIS PASSAGE 3 TIMES' and stick to like 'rules'. HURHURHUR.
'NO DREAMS,
NO BUTTERFLIES.
READ. DRAW. MAKE.'
okay. i totally burst out laughing at 'no dreams. no butterflies'
applied whatever was left of my smoking ability and talked about perception between individuals.

shortest 2 hours of my life. it was just too short! like, there were so many things you wanna express but yeaaa, there ain't time my dear! so anyway, interview slots will be out after 12pm tmr :/
my phone's like annoying me. not the phone itself but starhub actually! i think starhub is like secretly holding back my connection cos i msg too much or smth! only me and cel have this problem! like i don't receive smses. and they aren't laggy. they never arrive! tsktsktsk. totally upsetting.
okay. this week is going to be super super short at work. if im shortlisted for interview, i'll have to go down on tues or wed. and on thurs, i got invited to the cj awards ceremony that i was forced to sing for for the last 3 years. outstanding cca contribution. hohoho! i don't know how what i did was outstanding. but apparently it's outstanding enough for me to get an award? so i'll be like off the whole of thurs too! and friday's labourday! :D very very short week. oh yes, marcus is coming back on labour day! and the week after, i'll be taking tues off for syf. this week's gonna go by in a flash! okay. gonna enjoy it then! annyonggg!
