We thought we'd be stuck in the house all day again (our vehicle is in the shop) but we got a call and were asked if we'd like to go to a ritual for the local druids. We're good friends with a couple who are in the local ADF grove. It was a good time. My friend Kristin, is leaving the state for a while (maybe forever) soon and she was there, so it was good to get see her, maybe for the last time. Hopefully we'll be able to go out for coffee soon.
I got my homework done, every assignment in the first week, completed on time! :D I know that probably doesn't sound like a big deal, but to me it is. Now, only 8 more weeks to go. If I can keep this up, I'm sure I'll get at least a 95 in the class. I really am working on being more focused on school, so far so good.
Mike and I got into one of our very rare, very large, very stupid fights last night. It was about my desk. He hates clutter, which I respect and understand. But I have organized chaos going on on my desk. When he comes and takes all of my stuff and piles it up...oh, it really drives me crazy. We've been having this fight for about 7 months now, and I really did try to let it go. But yesterday when I went to pay the gas bill and couldn't find it...I was quite pissed. He wants the bills paid, and I need my stuff for school and work available to me, but he wants it done his way...so it doesn't look like the desk is...ya know, used.
So, to prove my point (I know this is idiotic) I picked up all of the papers and threw them about the living room...now I have an even bigger mess to deal with ::sigh::. I slept on the couch to...I dunno...prove my point more...and he tried to sleep on the couch more but he ended up in bed by himself at some point during the night. Today we talked about it and I said "Are you going to leave my damn desk alone?" He said "Yes...because I love you" Good boy. :D Being crazy works sometimes. I just have to keep it under control.
Well, off to read about all of my new friends :D
