Well, I was just looking through KnitPicks yarn and managed to purchase four skeins of sock yarn and two skeins of lace weight yarn to make a tank top in the One Skein book.(They used a skein with many more yards than the KnitPicks skeins. I signed up for a knitting class today at the lys here in town. It's on Saturday from 1-4pm. I am very excited about it. It is a class to learn how to cable and in the process of learning we will make a very cute  purse from one skein of Lamb's Pride Bulky.

Hehe. I have taught two more in the ways of knitting. I was thinking about joining a knitting group but instead made my own. Both B and Y left with a lovely piece of garter stitch hanging off their needles. Heehee. It was lots of fun. I had an email this morning. My friend Laura had her baby yesterday. Yay! And, as with my previous friends baby, I had nothing sent yet. I had promised a lovely  knit gift and had yet to make anything. So, I ran over to my LYS (across town) and picked up a really pretty hank of Cascade yarn. It's yummy. Really. No school today because of Good Friday. So I went shopping.

I purchased some rather nice sock yarn from a yarn store here in town today. I am going to return it I think because I found some yarn on knitpicks which is much cheaper and I don't think I should be making my first pair of socks on expensive yarn.
