LOL, CUDDY'S S1 WARDROBE STARTED OUT UBER-PROFESSIONAL. I'M SO HAPPY IT WENT TO SEX KITTEN PRETTY FAST.

Cuddy's sanity line was FTW. As for the conservative attire -- to remind us it's cold (I can think of other ways they could do that; I totes have House's dirty mind) perhaps?

She was conservative but [sometimes] stylish. Then stylish but officey. Now its just meowl.

I LOL at how NOT stylish she is in the pilot, though. There's really just a whole lot of bad stuff going on in that ep, from a visual standpoint. BUT ALL THE H/C ACTION IS AWESOME. Which makes it hurt so much more that it's all orange.
