ZOMG HOW ADORABLE THIS IS!:
dunmandolls! $20 apiece, $38 in pair
I've been surfing a lot around sg style/fashion/craft sites lately. I like looking at what people wear, though matter of whether i've got an eye for fashion remains unquestionably debatable.
TCP's a pretty interesting site --
sgstyle too.
had scholarship talks ytd! though personal hopes of achieving any scores a pretty resounding ZILCH thanks to fact that i've got no S papers. question of whether i can make it aside, i was pretty delighted with the existence of both IDA and NCYS booths. quite torn, though. infocomm's starting to sound better and better, though designing courses are only available at NTU. and i think they need a portfolio =/. social work's only done in NUS. hm. it's either one or the other.
had a super constipated conversation with kenneth the other day - this in response to him getting play tickets at a superbly unfair subsidised rate --
K: hahaha
K: (Y)
T: HAHAHAHAHA
T: WHY THAT
T: (Y) EMOTICON AGAIN
K: haha this time i'm using it in a different context
K: not acting cool already, imagine me really doing it
K: ...ok wait
K: i wasn't acting cool last time anyway
K: i was just... erm, trying not to be boring
K: lol
T: HAHAHAHAHHA
T: okok
T: but now i use it uh
T: cos i think it achives a
T: Certain Effect
T: haha!
K: yes exactly!
regarding the usage of "indeed"...
K: lol i think it depends very much on who does it or says it
K: i mean jac yeo's indeed and auggie's indeed are totally different
K: if you want it to be more extreme, jacyeo's indeed is totally different from lee kuan yew's indeed
...
T: wah we are having an Anal Discussion INDEED
K: haha that is so geeky man
K: see the context also matters
K: like you could have said "we are having such an anal discussion" instead
...
K: if its like
K: some monosyllabic, esoteric, very deep baritone "indeed" as a reply to some extremely long argument
K: that is cool
T: HAHAHA
T: in comparison to?!
K: as compared to "yeah i agree"
T: yeah
T: cos "indeed" wld sound
T: intellectual and
T: how to say, knowing
T: at tt point
K: ppropriate,basically
K: lol
T: yeah
K: its like you're totally unsurprised
K: so it makes the aforementioned argument sound less impressive
K: :P
T: oh yes
T: and it sounds less eager
T: than
T: yes i agree
K: . . .
K: man you should learn
K: "indeed"
GATTACCA ROCKED TOTALLY. The human spirit has no gene.
what would it be like to live in a perfect world
it's interesting how even in perfection there exists imperfection, simply because when you have ten thousand perfect people competing with one another, someone's bound to be second best, third best, fourth best and so on.
ethan hawkes (sp?) is frigging cute. heh.
and i totally dig jude law's acting!
i have supremely active tearglands that acted up at the end of the film and uh when i was recounting to wk the Horrors of my Primary Five Past.
zx asked ytd
if you know your son's a future killer, is it unethical to kill him off at birth?
i'll take the easy way out - don't interfere with fate. or destiny, whichever it is, because while the son will kill someday, and while killing is inherently and fundamentally wrong, the taking of this life may be destined by divine forces and encompasses within it certain cosmic significance that we as mere human beings can't grab hold of. do i make sense?
yay i'm done with your layout wk!
