The inventory process has just been made easier! I have moved my personal laptop upstairs to the sewing room. I had been taking the fabric downstairs and altering it on my work laptop while waiting for longer programs to finish running (I am a computer programmer that works from home). To start off these inventories, I decided to start with some pieces of fabric which are all the same type. They are all a jacquard weave with a ribbed background and a patterned foreground.
