Success!

I'm pressed for time, but wanted to write a note about last night's victorian ball. We had a blast!! The gown and underpinnings were very comfortable to dance in and I didn't feel any discomfort until the end of the night when my sides became a bit sore. Of course, that was at nearly 1 am! We had started dancing around 8 so I think that is pretty good. My feet and legs are a whole different story though. Owwww! All of us were walking like Frankenstein this morning.

David and I went over the
mlsdesigns' house to get ready with her and her mum (Angela) and sis (Clare). We all went to the ball as one party and had a really good time.  Angela was attending as Queen Victoria, Megan was Princess Alice and Clare was the Duke of Clarence. It was Megan's birthday so the ball was in honor of the birthday of Princess Alice. Angela did a lovely job as the Queen and looked to have enjoyed herself. Naturally, our party was the best dressed there. :) I was very pleased that my hair ended up looking just like fashion plates for civil war ladies.

Megan took video so I am assuming these will turn up on youtube eventually. I'll post a link when they do.

Alright... now back to work for me. On a Sunday. Blargh.

dance, victorian
