Lovely Evening
David and I went to a nearby town for a Victorian dance class this evening. We had a ball! I finally got to meet
mlsdesignsface to face. Everyone was so welcoming and wonderful. The dances were fun too... though we are both tired! Can't wait to go next week.
Listening to some of the talk though, it seems that most people are wearing the hoop skirt gowns instead of bustle gown for the ball in May. I chose the bustle style because I thought it might be easier for dancing. However, with all of the twirling, a hoop dress might be better. I know it would certainly be easier to sew! I might change my mind and do a hoop skirt and save the bustle pattern to do a walking dress. I think I am going to have to ponder this a bit. Hopefully I'll get the swatches for the silk soon. That should inspire me one way or the other.
Now it is off to bed for me! I'll have pictures of my Vic undies and a few of the doggies to post soon. I am just too tired to be bothered currently.
