Holy crap! I'm glad you weren't hurt hun!

I'm sorry about the damage to the car - I know I'd be pissed too. And yeah, it is a sucky time of year to have to deal with this.

*hugs*

I'm SO glad you're not more hurt, just sore- what a giant FPITA. When my car was hit I wasn't with it, and the ass totally drove away and never took responsibility, and I hate insurance companies. *hugs*

I'm so glad that you're ok. I'd also recommend seeing a doctor ASAP, because I heard that it can take a couple of days for some injuries to show up, and you will need to be covered for that from her insurance company too.

Also, a lot of insurance companies will drag their heels and try to pay as little as possible, so I would suggest at least consulting an attorney. We have http://www.1800thedogs.com/ here in the DFW area, but maybe you can call and see if they have a recommendation for a firm in your area.

like everyone else, I am so glad you're here to blog about this. And Digi is totally right about the doctor thing, I've seen people find out days later that they have a bit of whiplash. People really can't drive here in the rain. Which reminds me of the commercial where shoes fall from the sky. Sigh.
