The Job Hunt Continues...
Well, lost my job two weeks ago and am on the prowl for a new one. Need to kick it in high gear and get moving. Resume is almost where I want it and cover letters are slowly taking form. I will have this all completed by the end of the week and will start my plan of attack!
Overall, keeping in good spirits but I sure do miss work. I keep thinking about what I need to do and upcoming projects but that obviously isn't an issue any more (lol). I really want to work in the library but there just isn't any thing out there. Not really sure if public libraries will ever be the same. If I thought that in a year or so libraries would start to hire, then I'd feel a little more optomistic but I don't think they will ever enjoy the success they had before the economic collapse of 2008/2009. The same could be said for related fields (publishers, book jobbers, book stores, etc.). Just not certain where I should look. I'll keep trying though.
In the mean time, I need to focus on other fields and just keep looking. Time will tell.
