(no subject)
As I was feeding the fish today i noticed one of the hermit crab's shell looked empty and I freaked, thinking it was out looking for another, since we were told it would need a bigger one soon, and I thought that can't be good because I think they need to stay in a shell or they get too scared and die. (Like human hermits, except maybe the dying part)I thought I saw it's dead little crab carcass floating in the bubbles and was sad, but then I noticed it was actually still alive in it's shell home and what I saw must have been a shedding of it's body shell. Amazing stuff kids.
I placed a few shells in the tank. I doubt either of the hermit crabs will choose one but we'll see. If not we'll have to buy some I guess.
Not sure if I'm working tomorrow which is slightly annoying because I have to get up early just in case.
