Franz Ferdinand would be excellent to see live, I'm jealous, very good choice for your first concert as well. Mine was Avril Lavigne in year 7 yet I don't count it because I went with my sister and father, so I count it the Garbage concert I saw in year 9 with my cousin as my first proper concert. ;P

Also, I really, really, really like the Red Riders, I have a few of their songs after discovering them through triple j about a year ago (like Slide in Next to Me, or In my Sleep). Lucky, you saw an excellent band perform with a decent support act. =P

I know exactly how you feel about Uni courses, I did an entry a few days after christmas (the 27th i think) about my future and how I am quite frankly unsure of exactly what I want to do in life. My advice, do what your gut is telling you to do, regardless, if media is what you want do, even if you know it's competetive. If you're really unsure, chose something which you can change/tranfer into another degree or course if you want

I am so jealous you saw them. I've been dying to see them live. Man I need to get to a concert. I haven't been to a concert I would say in a good ten years. Pathetic I know.

wow. franz ferdinand is a great first gig ;) i only know about two songs from them, but they're really good. the beats = catchy and good for headbanging ;) i'm going to be absolutely poor. most of money for the start of this year is going to go on gig tickets -_-" will you be going to soundwaves as well?

Haha, I didn't think I'd know that many songs by them but I found out they haven't released a new album for like 2 years so I wasn't too lost during the sets.

Soundwave is mid-Febuary right? If my friend can get tickets, I think so. I'm not sure though. I'd really love to because I actually know most of the bands on the line up for once :D

Yeah, I'm pretty okay with my choices. I think I'll be happy if I get into any one of my preferences so it's all good ^^
