Little brother had his lawn bowls final today. The paper, board, club and everyone said that it would be on at 1pm today. 9am the phone rings "where are you?" Apparently last night the starting time was changed to 9am. Without anyone telling him or mum. Meaning he had to be woken up, didn't have breakfast nor a chance to have a quick practise before playing. So naturally he lost.
On the bright side he came second and he's only been playing for 3 months.
On the flip side its nice to be told about changes to competitions...
