Bye Bye Birdie!!!
The show is coming along really great. I play Kim MacAfee opposite some rather attractive men as Hugo Peabody and Conrad Birdie. For those of you who are not familiar with the show, its about this famous guy (think Elvis) named Conrd Birdie, who is drafted to go to war. His publicist does a contest and the winner gets to be his last kiss before he goes off to battle (kinda like Win a Date With Tad Hamilton). Who wins this contest? Your's truly. So Conad Birdie comes to our small town of Sweet Apple, Ohio, to a bunch a raving (obsessive) fans. The problem however is Kim already has a steady boyfriend--uh oh! And thats where I must stop or I would spoil it for you, so you'll just have to come and see it! =)
The show is triple cast, so I don't always play Kim MacAfee, so if you come on the wrong night you'll be playing where's waldo in order to see me among the screaming chorus of Conrad Birdie fans.

Tickets are $20 for general adults, $16 for children for the shows on Friday night and for the Sunday matinee. Saturday night is a benefit performance (like what we did for BATB last year), so tickets for adults are $25 for adults and $19 for children. We are performing in the Performing Arts Center at CSUN, if you are not familiar with it just let me know. I hope you guys can come! It really is gonna be a great show and I promise you'll get your money's worth. I'll let you know as soon as I find out exactly what show I'm doing.
