Mi-ammi
I enjoyed my Miami trip this week -- got the important appointment done (learned a lot there) and did not feel at all like I was rushing around, killing myself to get some dumb call total done. That being said, I spent a lot of time with The Accountant in a spare office, you know, working on my fidness (my financial fitness...). I spoke with a prospective client on the phone for an hour while in Miami and, again, we said the same things but from a different perspectives. It made me wonder if other consultants just spit out some random "Yeah, We Can Do That!" without asking a lot of questions. Even though I don't think I asked quite enough about resources to get the work done (don't know if the prospective client even knows what resources are available), I feel certain that I we can do the thing. The timeline seems a little nuts, however. The Dirty Whore is wonderful on so many levels, but she is Faboo at organizing projects, so I have great hope that it will work out well.
Holy sheet, was MILF Island awesome on 30 Rock? Poo! How am I ever going to going to remember all those catch phrases? Maybe they'll come to me as I fold the MILF Island t-shirts tonight at 2:00 a.m. ... on the plane.
