watching the NHL is funny...
haha so going into the conference finals, from the west will be seeds 1 (SJ sharks) and 2 (chicago blackhawks) and from the east will be seeds 7 (philadelphia flyers) and 8 (montreal canadiens). that just slightly amuses me.
fyi on how it works: the top 8 teams on the east and the top 8 from the west qualify for the playoffs based off their points during the season. then there are the conference quarterfinals, conference semifinals, and conference finals for both sides. then finally the stanley cup playoffs for the top in the east and the top in the west. xD love love love. very exciting.
congrats to all the teams who made it so far. especially for the flyers today for their come from behind victory (4-3) that ended today. now the conference finals can FINALLY START. but depressing as it is, i won't be here for the starting games... sad sad. i hope sharks do well. blackhawks are supposedly AWESOME (i haven't been paying much attention to anyone other than the sharks and who they play immediately) but not always consistent. sharks have consistency issues too, but i hope they've gotten rid of them (they have so far). *knocks on wood*
