It's been a long time.
So sue me.
This is a response I wrote to a news article I saw on Drudge Report.
Here is the article. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/femail/article.html?in_article_id=449819&in_page_id=1879
I don't know if they will post my comment, but I wanted someone to read it.
"You only live once.  Sure, Rachel is going to suffer some severe and unpleasant consequences, but that sort of partying, that sort of community and group happiness, is a once in a lifetime thing.  People would be a lot less stressed and anxious if they accepted the truism that a tidy, clean, sanitary home is not just temporary and un-sustainable, it is contrary to human nature.  The need of every human to feel, experience, and live is as necessary and inescapable as breathing.
This is the bottom line; To deny and ignore the human (and by human, I mean every human) desire and need to party, to rebel, to seek freedom, to search and suffer for experience-is not only fascist, is not only disciplining, is not only "proper parenting", it is inhuman and inhumane.  It is denial and repression of the most severe.  It is the modern subconscious reaction to our bewildering prosperity."
I thought it was fun.
