Disclaimer: For the first time, I can say that EVERYTHING about this one is MINE, ALL MINE. Mwahaha!!

Christina Aguilera - At Last
She sits alone in the back of the bar, listing to the woman on stage belt out some tune about being in love. Most of the people in the audience are watching the performer, or looking at their companions and smiling. The singer is talented, though she might be overdoing it a little bit on some of the higher notes.

As the song ends, the crowd starts clapping and she nods to the waitress for another drink.

Chris LeDoux - Shot Full of Love
When you tell someone you're a rancher, they might assume that you're tough. You'd have to be, to be at work from sun up to sun down; to tend the stock and maintain the fences on acres of land. There's also that romantic notion that comes with being a cowboy, the hat tipping and 'Ma'am'.

But, what keeps those cowboys strong is the women who love them; the ones who keep them fed.

Michael Buble - Haven't Met You Yet
He hates dating, because it's just a string of not-the-right-one. He's trademarking that, by the way. Why is it so hard for him to find someone who isn't more interested in what she's wearing? He's educated and employed, and the most shocking thing he did in his childhood was get detention for being in the Chemistry lab when the experiment blew up.

Maybe he's hanging out in the wrong places. Maybe there's a gamer bar, somewhere.

Maybe he should learn how to run a bar and open one, himself.

Ashlee Simpson - I Am Me
'Just wait,' she thinks. 'Just wait. One of these days, you're going to wish you treated me better.' She was always laughed at in school, for being too quiet and too weird; for spending too much time on her laptop, in the back corner of the music room. Well, quiet and weird she might be, but it was her final project that got her admitted to one of the finest music programs in the country.

One day soon, she's going to be making the music they're listening to, and they won't have a clue.

And she's going to love every minute of it.

Trace Adkins - If the Sun Comes Up
He owes her so much more than he's ever going to be able to make up for. She has always been at his side, through the good and the bad. When things got really bad, she stayed right there. It's not that he doesn't appreciate her, because he can't imagine his life without her, but he's never been able to tell her how he feels.

She's never complained, and she always has a smile for him, but he can't help but wonder if her life would be better without him. She deserves more than he's able to give her, but still she stays.

She comes in with his dinner, giving him a smile as she sets the tray at his side and sits on the bed. "Tonight, you're getting mush," she tells him, and smiles again.

It's always mush, of course. He isn't able to eat anything more than that since the paralysis stole his life.
