She sits alone, every night. She can't sleep and wouldn't, even if she could. Sleep brings bad dreams, and she's seen enough in the past year to last a hundred lifetimes.

They've been off-planet for almost a month, now, and everyone has settled into their new home aboard the Calypso about as much as they ever will. Things are getting back to normal - whatever that even means - and the Celcians are moving forward.

Why, though, does she feel like she's stuck? Her family is here, her friends are here. This is where she should be.

Why is she avoiding them?

----------------------------------

Trey watches from the open doorway. He assumes that his wife knows he's there, but she hasn't made any motions to indicate it. He doesn't know what to do, what he can say to make her feel better. For the past year, they've been apart, and he hated every minute of it.

Now, they're back together and she's still lightyears away.

He wants nothing more than to shake her out of this mood; to quiet the voices telling her she's failed; to wake her up from the bad dream.

He wants to see her smile again.

He misses holding her.
