(no subject)
So many of you who've seen me recently and asked about how I am will have recieved arm flailings and stressed muttering about how my Uni work is lacking because of too much work to do with running Polymorph Gallery by myself.
Well on Sunday my lovely former volunteer Rose stepped up to the plate and decided to make sense of the sales and my idea of "paperwork" (read: a series of scrawled little notes and reciepts in an envelope) and make it all fancy by using things that I don't understand, like EXCEL! So now I'm sharing Gallery and pay responsibility equally with Rose, she does the moneyz and liasons with Dave about it, and I do what I do best, waxing lyrical with press releases etc, shmoozing with potential artists and clients and the curating/hanging of the show, and we're both going to work together to make it more organised and think of creative approaches towards marketing and getting the artists for each show.
I feel like a giant weight has been lifted off my shoulders, I just want to cover Rose in gold stars...
...now to attempt the uni work I've been letting slide :S
