T-Day
I worked yesterday. Not much at all going on, nobody really about the area, so we kinda played firemen, roaming around until someone called. (Not much of that either, really.)
After work, I trekked up to Mel's aunt and sorta uncle's place where Mel and the roomie were already waitin' on me. It was nice to get up the mountain with almost no traffic at all! They were watching the weirdest, grossest movie I could ever imagine on T-day. It was just wrong. In Blu-ray no less. Ugh. I was grateful I only saw the last 15 minutes or so. After that we put on the Macy's Day parade for a little bit and dinner was ready shortly after. Dinner was awesome! I made it through 2 helpings and a piece of key lime AND a piece of pumpkin pie before the food coma hit. We couldn't stay long since we all had to be up for work today, but it was nice and the food was great. Turkey, mashed red potatoes, yams, stuffing (which I don't like but I assume was good), asparagus, homemade gravy, apple pie, cherry pie, key lime pie and pumpkin pie. I'm surprised my gut didn't bust.
Today was much busier at work and I find it interesting how people think my job is "Let's Make A Deal." Off to home after picking up the pooch and now I have one pooch behind me snoozing, another on the floor passed out, and a big ol' fluffy kitty watching me type from my lap. He's a little upset with me due to being smooshed and smooched.
