Plumber Suck
Ok, I'm not entirely pleased with the plumbing company. The Plumber was fine, when he got here. I was supposed to have one out here yesterday by 2pm, then by 5pm, then by 9pm, then by 7am this morning. Finally, this morning at 8:45, I had a plumber. It's a national company, so I don't know what the issue was. On the other hand, the guy fixed my issue. Now I can wash clothes and everything else again.
The raccoon was released to a park area over 5 miles away. Now I just need to get that fascia board nailed back up. Furry McBanditPants has a new home and it's gonna stay that way.
Sooooo much to do. I got the tv situation taken care of since we have about 1.5 channels on the OTA channels. So. :sigh: I had to pay for a service. Don't like it, but 1.5 is just not enough.
I cleaned the gutters, which were....well....sludgy. Kinda gross and my poor fingers were frozen by the time I pulled bars of ice out of them, scooped the mud, decomposing plants and icy water out.
Also changed all the bulbs to CFLs, so that should help. Changed at least 36 bulbs. Oy. And found out that some doofus had placed 75 watt bulbs in fixtures that had 60 watts MAX written right on them. Can we say fire hazard?
Shoveled overgrown grass and dirt off of the concrete slab in the front of the garage.
Next is probably laundry, more attic insulating, calling a handyman, etc.
