I am still trying to believe

I posted about the Nine Inch Nails viral campaign a few days ago. I've continued to follow it as it's evolved and as more sites and information has come to light, and it continues to entertain and creep me right the fuck out. I would especially like to point people at the video that is now being hosted at http://yearzero.nin.com/. Jumped out of my socks the first time I watched it. (reactions may differ). As a result of all this viral marketing, a few of the new songs have been "leaked". 3 to be exact. I've compiled them in a convenient ZIP file for your consumption.  All 3 songs are great by my approximation.  Also, for fans, the DVD "Beside you in time" comes out on the 27th.

I'm torn on Supreme Commander.  There have been a lot of very positive reviews and the game comes off as something I might enjoy.  But there are a few problems.  Most of the reviews I've read have indicated that it can bog down even the most powerful PC when the battles get really heated.  Of course, heated battles are exactly when you don't want your PC to start chug-a-luging, and few things piss me off more than crappy, choppy gameplay.  If you can't make a game that will run well on even high-end systems all the time, you've done something wrong!  So I'm really debating if I want to go down that road.  I know it leads to frustration.  The question becomes - is the journey worth it?

I think tonight might finally be the night we wade into the first hour long episode of Naruto: Shippuuden.  Quite frankly, I'm surprised we haven't devoured it already.  We've  been a tad lax in our television consumption for some odd reason.  I also think we may be an episode behind in BSG.  Must rectify.
