I can't say that I did much of anything on my day off.  I think I managed to win a few races in NfS:MW, and I watched "It's All Gone Pete Tong" which was hilarious for anyone who has ever ventured into the DJ lifestyle in the same way that "This Is Spinal Tap" was funny for people into 80's glam rock.

I also spent some time reorganizing my ever-growing digital comic collection.  It still boggles my mind to think about the sheer volume of comic scanning that is going on out there.  The biggest challenge is keeping track of what I've downloaded and what I still need to read.  I've been hooked on "The New Avengers" and continue to read it.  I also started taking in some of the new X books that Marvel has been tossing out; specifically the "New X-Men: Hellions" has caught my attention with a decent couple of premier issues.  And my attempt to read the entire X-Men chronology continues, though very slowly.

Back to work tomorrow morning.  I'm actually looking forward to it, which is very strange for me.  I guess it goes to show the difference a great job can make on one's outlook toward working for a living.  Fortunately, I think I'm mostly over my weird cold.  The cough is hanging on, which is annoying.

Also back to gaming tomorrow, where I hope I can apply a different mind-set to the campaign and turn it around.  Disturbingly, I've found my (unruly) mind bending towards Shadowrun lately.  Shadowrun?  Geeze.  I think it's more a desire for an injection of cyberpunk into my life.  There's a definite shortage of cyberpunk anymore.
