How is it possible to be a pirate on the high sees in the new millennium without having an anti-aircraft gun? I would think that would be the first thing I'd be installing on my pirate ship. Good luck finding a pirate with enough depth perception to fire it accurately, though.
Busy day on the job. Boring details. Kinda flustered. Good lunch though. Corn beef on rye. Mmmm.
Game night got canned due to extenuating circumstances. No more role playing until 2006 now.
It just dawned on me that, now that I've moved into my semi-permanent office, I should furnish it. We have an extra futon at the house that we don't know what to do with. I should bring it to work. What's better than having a place to nap right in your office. I wonder if a first mate on a pirate ship could expect such luxuries?! One thing I definitely need is a set of speakers. The silence in here is deafening.
I also realize that I am in desperate need of exercise. The extra ponch around the mid section is becoming an issue that I can't ignore anymore. Traditionally, I put on and take off weight without much notice from either myself or other people. It seems as though the very minute I turned 30, however, the weight started going on with no intention of coming back off on it's own. Now the ever present struggle to keep in shape during one's middle-ages begins. Sorta like Europe.
Speaking of staying in shape -- gotta run.
