Happy Greed Day
pressies have all been opened. seems everyone has liked what i've gotten them, and i'm certainly not complaining lol. aside from poor Tawa being depressed (i'm going to do some research in a few to see if there's someone non-degu who i can put in there to keep him company), Aunt Dot is in the hospital... she's always with us for the holiday, and her symptoms don't sound too promising; it's all pretty mysterious and she's due for a lot of tests. for who we have here, though, it's been a good day. if nothing else, we had a blast watching Kitsune open his presents.
now for the sheerly materialistic stuff (because it's a nice distraction from the family stuff), some higlights of this year's booty (ARRR!):
-a total of three bellyrings
-a giant penis-shaped lollipop (thanks, Mom)
-a thong that says "Eat Me" on the front (Mom again)
-an awesome purple paisley surplice shirt (Aunt Kathy)
-a Jack Skellington steering wheel cover (courtesy of Egha!)
-a second-generation iPod Shuffle (from bob... still trying to figure the damn thing out because i have a mental block about RTFM :D)
-a 20" flatscreen tv (Mom again)
later on, we're having a lamb dinner. in the meantime, i need a cookie lol
