I really love this fic so far! I'm happy you included some Severus in here and I liked this line, "Lily was no longer willing to look upon Severus's actions with childish naivety-and the next, tempers had reared", I felt it was a good summation of what went wrong with their relationship. I thought you wrote Rosmerta wonderfully, I loved how James interacted with her-- and of course his interactions with Lily. I love how hard he tries to endear himself to her <3

Oh, this is wonderful. And Lily is wonderful.

I also like that, despite it all, James in not all that bad (in her eyes, I mean.) We know he's a really good person and you show it nicely. Besides, he's a good tipper for Rosmerta and that says something. LOL
