my boyfriend is the best!
I can say with certainty that I have the best boyfriend in the world. Last Tuesday, while I was at work for 5.5 hours, he stayed at my apartment and starting some heavy duty cleaning. My room was a pigsty -- and trust me, that's an understatement. As if that weren't enough, he stayed at my place for 8 hours today and cleaned my living room, which looks immaculate. I realize that relationships aren't based directly upon what things your partner does for you, but just knowing that he gave up two of his days off to clean my place so that I could be happier in my apartment really enforces what I've know for almost 6 months now -- my boyfriend is amazing and I'm so lucky to have him. I've been a little down these past few days, and although I have not yet pinpointed why, I've been comforted by the fact that my relationship with Nick is one of the few things in my life that I don't have doubts about.
