Six Months and a Promise
On Monday night (August 20th), Nick and I celebrated our six-month anniversary by going out to a fancy dinner. While we had a great time there, it wasn't the food or the drinks that made my day -- it was the gift he gave me. He presented me with two promise rings -- one for me, one for him -- that signify our commitment to each other. As if the rings themselves aren't beautiful enough, engraved inside each of them is a message: To Us, Nick and Marissa Always. I can honestly say that was one of, if not the best, gift I have ever received. I love him so much and I'm so excited about our future together. :)
