The weather outside is frightful. I feel trapped inside by all the smog warnings. I've had to do most of my mandated extra excercise indoors, stairclimbing and weights are getting old. On the plus side I have been reading more

Thanks for the reading tips. Even though about a hundred books are piled up waiting to be read, I still want to know about more. I have read other Jo Walton books and liked them; I didn't know about Farthing. I like Linwood's columns but did not know he was also a novelist.

I really wish we would get a long steady rain that would clear the air! And save the garden. But preferably not this evening while Marah and I plan to ride.
