NANA - Episode 1
First, I'll join the chorus and say that Paku Romi's not doing a spectacular job with Oosaki Nana. It really boils down to the fact that Nana's a 20 year old woman and she sounds like a sulky 12 year old boy.
Otherwise, I envisioned Shouji sounding younger, and I wished for more Hachi backstory because it DOES actually make her more sympathetic and like she's actually been working towards her independence (mostly cribbed from girltypefuuma because she's more articulate).
The animation is gorgeous though, and I look forward to the appearance of my favorite character, Ren.
In other news unrelated to NANA, I need to poke someone to blather on about YanaKiri with, because I miss them dearly, and the stagesoflove challenge is only partially helping me with that particular issue. *pokes at dimmie* So don't be surprised if I randomly IM you and go TALK TO ME ABOUT RIKKAI.
