Last night was Sigur Ros at the Lowry Theatre in Manchester. In-fucking-credible. My friend and I were shocked into silence for a good 15 minutes afterwards, and too emotionally drained to say much after that either. I can spout off all the superlatives I like, but unless you have seen this band live yourself, it is very hard to begin communicating the experience. The albums are incredible - the concert is in a different world. They played about four or five new songs, all of which were amazing and the new album is out in a couple of months. How anything is ever going to live up to this, I don't know...
