Because Germany is the biggest music market in Europe. Ten times bigger than England. There is a lot of money involved, and people fall for money. I think that is the reason. Take a look at the bestselling bands in Germany, they are insultingly boring. My explanation is that they simply want a new house. They already have one in the city, but now they would like to have one in the countryside, too. So, they make a new record and buy a house in Italy etc. I suppose that’s why they call it House-music.
