Yestaurday one of my students told me she liked my classes the best cause they're not boring. At least I'm not boring so yay about that. Think this semester might be going slightly better.
I'm starting a movie club next week. Some of the movies I showed in my film class might have been a bit too confusing for my students so we're gonna take it down a notch. They really liked Whale Rider so we're gonna go around those lines. I'm gonna start with a crowd pleaser (I'm thinking About a Boy) so they can tell their friends that this club is in fact fun and then eventually move into things a bit more difficult. Not too difficult, but more stories based on real situations like Hotel Rwanda and Life is Beautiful. Before they know it they'll know more about the world. Hahahaha!!
People here ask me if I'm on friendster. Yes, friendster is quite popular here. When was it popular at home? Like 2 years ago?
