I want to be very honest with you: one of the major issues is how many threads seem to get dropped; it influences how I tag back, knowing that in recent history at least, the threads aren't going to go anywhere.
I'm always open to threading with most anyone, it doesn't benefit either of us if the thread will die prematurely.
(And with Maximus, yes. He isn't one to strike up conversation just with people, so we were at an impasse there.)
One of my things is that...I work better if it's more than just one or two sentences, because otherwise I do fall into the habit of doing just that and find myself in a rut. It leaves me thinking 'where do I go from here'.
Which bites because I do keep wanting to tag with your pups, but again, there's the rut.
I appreciate your forthrightness. And I will respectfully disagree. To me, it's not about length, but quality. I could give a lot of internal monologue, but how would that help? And it circles back to energy involved in a thread and where it's going.
For your suggestion: here's how I react to this: this helps your pups, but it doesn't necessarily do anything to advance Katherine or Felecia. In my mind, a thread should advance all involved. Let me give you an example of what I mean: Abileen's makeover: It not only helped Abileen in obvious ways but it helped Felecia feel like a valuable person. Does that make sense?
As for the thread, maybe I should be more specific-I was in a hurry during the last comment, so that may've been why.
Anne needs to break out of her shell. It's not much to do with clothing, as she already dresses modern and classy, but she's always been fairly private, and even the times when she does show up at a party, it's rare that she talks with maybe one or two people.
She also needs to get out more. She considers Katherine a friend well enough to trust her to that agree..
And..to be frank, whenever I do see Katherine and Felicia in a thread together, I'm torn between going 'awww' and rubbing my hands together with glee because really, if the two of them decided to 'paint the town red' that would be an epic thread to follow.
Anne needs to learn that it's okay to go wild on occasion-she doesn't need to worry about someone watching her all the time.
She's not 'not social', but she's become so settled that she's almost fine with actually living through other people (ie, Vianne and Annouk).
I think you've experienced what I've experienced and that is that quiet pups aren't the ones who get the spotlight. Felecia is a LOUD pup and demands attention, if that makes sense. But what would help me in that situation would be something in that situation that would make Felecia more than a prop.
From what you're saying, it sounds like a starting place would be Katherine and see where that goes.
Any of my pups you want for plot/CR?
I've Carrie White, Anne of Cleves, and Sonya Blade (who's six months with child and can't wait for it to be over.)
I tried to tag Maximus with Sonya...but, she's not the most verbal of my pups, and not one to really just strike a random conversation with someone.

It's nothing personal-least I hope it doesn't come off that way.
..What if..what if we have a closed thread or something between pups, that way there's a goal of some kind and I have something to work/build off of.
It's easier for me to work off short comments if our pups have past CR together.
....Oh..I know...and I feel kinda evil for suggesting this, but I've been in a rut with Anne of cleves for awhile.
What if we were to contact Katherine howard's mun, and she and Felecia could take Anne out for a sort of 'ladies night out'?
She's never done something like that in the village..and just the thought of her being 'coerced' like that makes me feel devious.
