You definitely need to read this fic. It's not really kid!fic. I mean, the kids are in it, but the focus is so much more on Hoshi and dealing with how Sagittaron perceives his sexuality, and then how that impacts what he really wants out of life. I'm about to write up a rec for it, but I think you will really, really, REALLY love this fic. (Also, there's no baby cute-ishness. The youngest a kid appears on screen is five, and the longer conversations focus on teenagers/preteens.)

Have read and loved and is so not actually kid!fic. It's just a wonderful story about redemption and forgiveness and living your life after disaster rather than simply surviving.

The art is just lovely. I adore them all, but I think my favorite is Jordan and Amelia in the hammock. It just reminds me so vividly of reading to my younger sisters and brother and later my nieces in a hammock on the deck of my parent's vacation home in Rockport. Most of the time we sat exactly like they do in the picture: face to face, I even hung one leg out to make room for them like Amelia does in your picture. I will tell you from experience the cloth hammocks are much more comfortable than the woven ones. We always had to use a blanket to keep the ropes from scratching in the woven hammocks.

I'm going to have to come back and look at these again after I've read the fic (did not read the descriptions to remain spoiler-free) but I wanted to say how much I loved these! I love hand-drawn art in all shapes and forms and these are just gorgeous.
