A part of him doesn’t believe what his eyes are showing him: sweet lips forming a smile and dark skin contrasting over the green shadings of the jungle.
This is impossible
“The Island is not done with you” - Naomi points at his bleeding ears, at her red tears slowly falling to the ground - “Welcome back, Miles”
His hands tremble, his body aches, but no sound comes from his mouth. Everything is silence as his minds starts to skip through time (her time).
He experiences her death: a sharp knife stabs his back and all he can do is crawling towards her vanishing ghost.
